I ordered a spicy honey chicken and waffle meal. I was a little surprised it came out chopped, the menu displayed a waffle with a piece of fried chicken laid over top - not a big deal, it doesn't change the quality or the taste. Their menu does look very appetizing, I sort of suspect they are AI generated images though. I'll start with the waffle- what i'd hoped for is a golden brown waffle with a crisp and buttery exterior, soft and cakey interior. What they serve is a pancake in the shape of a waffle, no crispy edges, everything is soft and floppy. The chicken also lacked crunch, was just bordering on being too dry, and didn't stand out in any way. The hot honey drizzle tasted like a sweet chili sauce, I really didn't get the impression that it had honey in it, but it was mildly spicy. Not enough that I was reaching for milk but noticeable. It's like they've taken the basic components of this meal and constructed them on the most basic level. It doesn't feel like there is a culinary passion behind this meal. I'd give the food 2.5 if I could to place it dead in the middle. The only thing about the service that I wasn't a fan of was the only menu they had was on a TV display th

This place is AMAZING! Their are soooo many choices, you have to keep going back! The owner is super hospital, and the service is out of this world! Definitely my new favorite place 😍

Absolutely Worth Every Bite! I had such an amazing experience here that I couldn’t leave without sharing it. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely happy to help. The food was the real star. Every bite was bursting with flavor, clearly made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The portion sizes were generous, the presentation was beautiful, and everything came out hot and perfectly cooked. You can really tell that the kitchen takes pride in what they serve. What impressed me most was the balance of flavors—nothing was too heavy, too salty, or overpowering. It was comforting, satisfying, and honestly one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Even the small details, like the sauces and sides, were done right. Overall, this place exceeded my expectations. Great food, great service, and a great vibe. I’ll definitely be coming back again soon and recommending it to friends and family. If you’re thinking about trying it—do it. You won’t regret it!

Stopped by Chix for lunch and tried their special waffle sandwich and its definitely a must try spot if you’re in Albany area. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and really well made. I’d absolutely come back to try more items from the menu.
